Artwork Process Behind Suncrusher Art Covers
COLLABORATION
Suncrusher, is a metal band located in Chicago, Illinois. We first connected through mutual friends. Fueled by our love for riding motorcycles and creating. So, had fun collaborating on some art together & this is what we came up with!
CONCEPT
Inspired by untold stories and others written by H.P Love Craft such as the Alchemist and Cthulhu Mythos influenced this band’s polyptych album artwork for each part of their album coming together.
This album cover is focused on four parts representing weapons and the heart and mind undergoing deconstruction, decay, and fighting another force to be reckon with! Being held and clutched by tentacles emerged under water fueled the visuals for this overall album cover and stand alone cover art inspired by each song on the album:
